Hello everyone! Well I just installed inkbird 306a WiFi dual heating controller. I was able to follow utube video on how to set it up (I THINK?) lol one 200w titanium tube heater and a 75w Eheim glass heater. The 75w came with the controller so I figured I’d throw it on there and see how it goes. I’m hoping it keeps my reef stable at 78 degrees Fahrenheit. What temps do y’all run?

I maintain a temp of 80 degrees in my system.

What temp do all you experts suggest for a mixed reef? 2 clowns, 1 royale gramma, 1 yellow eye Kole tang, 7-8-9 hermits, 3 snails, and green star polyps is all that’s in there so far. Looking to add anemone later on and some corals like hammer, torch, zoas, leathers, softy and lps corals. Thx for input ahead of time.
I may ask lots of questions and advice.

I like 78+ degrees... and I also use at least two methods of measuring the temp. I have a SenEye and I do a daily salinity & temp check with a meter. Every now and then I use one of those infrared temperature guns. I pretty much ignore what my heater controller thinks.

Looking to set up an InkBird on my new 20 cube - I hope it works well for you. Definitely agree with BeccaBits on the redundant temp monitoring!

Been using the inkbird brand for over 4 years it will do you fine. My 306a is running a 800watt heater just fine (220gal system vol) . Used a 306T for 2+ years straight on a 300watt for a 110 gal and 80gal.

#Edit, still using inkbird but went back to single probe design.
