Been trying to calculate my tanks cost in electricity. The Inkbird can range from 1100 to 2200 watts. Should I price this as being on 24/7? It’s an exorbitant amount if so and it surely seems implausible. A little stumped so any advice helps. All other equipment is about $20/mo

The inkbird uses next to no electricity. That rating is what wattage equipment it can run. The only real power usage will be how much electricity the heaters that are plugged into the inkbird use.

??

The temp controllers will draw almost nothing. Are you talking about the heaters that are plugged into it?

If so, it will be hard for anyone to know how long they will be on. It depends on a number of factors including the wattage of the heater, the size of the tank, the ambient temp, the tank temp etc.

Was just trying to calculate wattage. Most time you just take the wattage online/the label, do some multiplying and dividing and get the answer. This just had me stumped. Got my answers though! Thanks everyone!
