I see inkbird has advertised here on Reef2Reef. (advertising works)

With such a low price at $30, how does it compare to their other models and to other brands of controllers ?

If you're a owner of these inkbirds, how accurate are they and longevity ?

Great,good, bad or ugly ?

Which model # ?

Why do you prefer it and how long have you had it ?

I use Inkbird controllers in all of my reptile enclosures. I have never had one fail and they have been running for over a year.....all are easy to setup and program. Most of my enclosures are using the ITC-306T but I recently picked up one of their new Wifi controllers ITC-308 Wifi which is nice. Has all of the quality of the older controllers with the added ability to monitor and control temps through Wifi. This is a pic of the newer controller but they all look similar......if you have any questions on their programming or use let me know.

Both of mine failed within a year. Even replacing the probes did not fix them. Just a bit too cheap for my liking - I prefer to pay $60 for a Ranco. If you do go Inkbird, make sure to seal the probe.

Which Rancho model do you have ?

I use the Inkbird ITC-308 with a non-replaceable metal style probe. Others have said that this isn't suitable for use submerged and I agree, the temperature goes out of whack every week and reads high. Current offset (compared to my NIST thermometer) is now - 10 degrees Celsius ;Dead
