Inkbird not working so well anybody else?

I have the new inkbird aquarium dual sensor wifi model. It is connected to a 50w eheim jager. I have it set to s low of 78.5 and a high of 79. Just today it started not turning off at 79.1 or so degrees. It is now swinging from 78.5 to 80.5. This is just crap. Anyone else experiencing this? I do not really know what to do. I have the option of returning it via Amazon, but I just want to know if anyone has had a similar experience, and fixed it. I run the probes right beside each other in the same chamber in my aio.

I had a non WiFi one with the metal temp probe, it drifted by more than ten degrees (Celsius) over two weeks. Supposedly the ones with a rubber covered probe are more reliable.

Yes I'm using the new model with dual rubber probes.

Did you set the range for it to cut off and on? The temp you set is kind of the mid point.

I have the 306a dual probe wifi and it runs perfect.
Maybe the small 50 watt heater is too small to trip the unit off. I would try a larger heater. I use a 300wt.

Yes.

The first number turns on the outlet, the second number turns it off. So essentially you have it set to never reach the turn off point, because it is lower than the turn on point.
