thats the saw i use and its WAY better then a band saw and probably better than a ring saw
i can make individual acan heads and cut through both skeleton and rock easily
dont need to plane off the rock first, well with this saw you can do that too
great saw
cheaper than ring saw too and comes with an extra blade, ive cut over 10 colonies and over 40 frags and still works great
only thing i dont like is the water cooling part, not a water bath like most water cooled things but a drip tray that feeds water to the blade

Crap---I should have bought that one instead of the ring saw. I was expecting to be cutting a lot of micros--but now I don't wanna cut them anymore.

I may put my ringsaw up on ebay!

i was going to say you might be able to just switch out the blades but forgot you wouldnt be able to cool the blade on a normal band saw
but yeah the inland diamondband saw is very easy to work with
i dont think you can really do single micro heads with this band saw though, but acan heads are easy

I would rather stick with acans any more anyway. The ringaw is OK for micros but I have still destroyed quite a few heads. I'm just gonna get rid of all my micros and stick with more visible and affordable LPS.

These are fantastic tools. We have had ours for 4 months and no problems. Just replacing blades after a few hundred cuts.

im pretty sure i got mine for less than 200 but not really sure, its been a while
i got mine from a stain glass company
