Hi... I have two return pump 6000 lph each in my mix reef tank with dimension 60"x30"x24".

Please advice where is the best position for the water inlet, are the 2 holes at the bottom and covered by scaping rock, or just above through the overflow box or make it both on top and bottom?

just above through the overflow box .
It depends on what sort of drain you are going to do in the overflow box. You might not have enough holes

This tank is currently under construction so I can still customize it. I plan use have two 1.5" overflow holes with two return pumps with a capacity of 6000 lph each. Are these holes adequate? For the return pump I plan to use a 3/4" pipe each.
The overflow box on corner of tank.
