How often do you feed reef roids?

I bottomed out and got dinos and I started feeding a poop ton and dosing phosphates and finally my levels are elevated and comfortable without having to dose. Just curious to see if you're doing something else

I have the same experience with IM chaetomax led in IM 25g lagoon...always 0-2 nitrates :/

I usually feed once a week, actually need to tonight, then a 5 gal waterchange thw next day. Now I do have sand so maybe that has something to do with it too. Other then that. I just dose special blend bacteria sop. Every other week then microbactr7 at water change.

Do you have an algae problem? Be careful about getting your nutrients down too low. I've found the sweet spot is 0.1ppm or so PO4 and 7-10ppm NO3 in my tank. If I go lower than that on the PO4, colors fade, and algae starts growing faster than corals. I keep in in that range, corals grow faster than algae.

Hello all.
So I have started a project for a new home for my tank. I bought a "curio" ( I think thats what its called) from a thrift store and it is perfect for what I wanna do. It has drawers for storage and a large cabinet area for my ATO and electrics with my new switch box. I gotta sand it down and then Gonna stain it BLUE! I hope that works. Defiantly an upgrade from my current stand.
Also, here are some current status pix of my tank. Everyone is growing really fast and getting big. hmmm, I might need to upgrade after Reef-a-Palooza

If anyone sees any issues with coral location or proximity to each other, PLEASE TELL ME. I would really appreciate it.

update on my tank stand build. I am almost ready to do the move to the new stand. just need some finishing touches and then move the electrics and tank. I am gonna rescape when I move. I got some new live rock from caribsea and am gonna move some coral around. It's a surprise so not gonna say what I'm doing. Here are some prog

SOOOOO my tank stand is DONEZO!!!! I am only missing 1 more thing and thats handles, they are on back order.
anyhoo it has been a long process but it is all ready setup and it looks awesome!! I do wish I had come up with somehting better for my wire management BUT it frikin way better then it was.. for the beginning of the build. just scroll up. Let me know what you all think and if you see something I can improve PLEASE tell me. I know I didnt think of everything.

hope you all like. Also still need to hook up my 15" reefbright XHO lights in tandem with my current USA's. just waiting for the budget to open up a bit more for the ramp controller. I will also be making a floating shelf to attach the lights too above the tank so keep watch for that too!
