Innovative Marine 40L vs 50 Lagoon?

Which would you choose and why?

Background info.. I'm not big into SPS. Big lPS fan. I would be stretching the budget to go with the 50 so how would your choice effect lighting options? Was planning 2 AI Prime lights for the 40L.

Lagoon is my vote

Definitely the Lagoon for me... I have the 25 currently and love the shape with extra depth to scape in. I also have 2 AI primes on it focused on a clam in the center. Plenty for SPS in that tank so while the 50 is bigger, I'd imagine 2 of them would also be plenty for LPS in the 50... I don't have one, but the new blade grow could be an interesting choice as well.

Easy decision, go for the bigger tank

This is one of those slippery slope equations. I really like the 35” width for the space it’s going to go in, and if I’m thinking 50 then the 60SR is the same width as the 40L…. This is going to be an office tank that I’m hoping to have going for a long time so it’s a tough decision.

Do the lagoons tanks wind up looking larger than a long type?
