Innovative Marine 75 EXT

Hooked up my trident finally. Well, it's not getting a water sample... Tried the diagnosis tool in the app. Nothing I can suck water through the line. But not getting to the vial. Looks like the tube is fully seated in the manifold. Grrrr

Got the Trident going. Something must have been in the internal tubing for water sample.

Added a carpenter wrasse today! He is super tiny. Fire fish doing well! Added my trumpet colony also!

Did some par readings. 9" off water with 4 T5 bulbs and kessils at 10 percent. PS both fish doing well looking to transfer most of my corals over soon.

I am going to mess with mounting height I think. I would like the sand a little lower par than 170.

Designed my own lid! Test fit and it fits beautifully. It's still covered in the protective plastic. The cuts are straight lol I will be using 1/8" netting.

I am currently building my tank upgrade! Moving from a 2.5 year old Nuvo 40 to a 75 Ext. Really excited to have a sump and found the right deal. Everything has been happening slowly. I just finished plumbing the tank. And started organizing my controller cabinet. This weekend I will be moving it in place and possibly starting the scape. The setup will be..

Innovative Marine 75 EXT
Fiji cube 20 sump
Red sea RSK 300 skimmer
Reef octopus VarioS-2 return pump
2 Ecotech MP40s
Maxspect Gyre XF300

My dream tank

Loaded a bunch of corals in today. To see how the flow is. I don't think the two mp40s on the back is going to work. Too much flow bouncing off the glass and hammering the corals. Might try the sides tomorrow. Not thrilled but probably needed. The mp40s are maxed at 10% right now.... Bummer it's sooo clean looking but corals health is more important.

Looks nice... just a thought, before moving them to the sides maybe move them to hit the back of your rockwork? That would block some flow forward and possibly give some acceptable random turbulence to stir the tank? Worse that could happen is you still put them on the sides anyway lol. Good luck.
