Thank you. I will do that after I drain it and take tank off stand. This has been a Royal PITA.I almost bought an IM system as well but the stand stopped me. No leveling feet and it just looks underbuilt/barely adequate for an aluminum stand. I DIY'd my aluminum and they can be finnicky for sure. I don't think I saw where you put the level down on all planes of the stand while the tank was off? I would put the level over the stand and start to spin it like clock hands and rocking it to find where the high spot is. Seems to me there has to be one somewhere.
I agree. I am regretting this buying decision. Thank you.Wow. After you documented unequal glass panes. Time for refund.
I watched that video posted. If that is your problem too you can try to shim the sides a bit before screwing the starboard on. Drywall shims are 1.4mm thick and could solve your problem. Don't jamb wood shims in there or anything just think of "layering" the sides to bring them up a bit to meet the hump in the middle.Thank you. I will do that after I drain it and take tank off stand. Appreciate that. I may have to do that.I watched that video posted. If that is your problem too you can try to shim the sides a bit before screwing the starboard on. I actually spoke to them tonight. They are trying. I’m impressed that they always answer the phone, which is more than I can say about other companies. They are sending me out a diy leveling mat that I will place on top of board on stand. If I can’t see the gap and the tank is supported enough, I’ll be ok with that. I got the tank and stand on sale for @$1300. That is a better price than competing tanks I considered.I really thought they had better customer service than that. Hope they make it right for you. These tanks are beautiful and after the other fiasco you absolutely need something good to come of this.
I actually like these stands. The directions suck but they are strong and very light. If its not the tank they should rush ship a new stand out to you imo.
The gap you have is more than most I’ve seen but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s fine. Both my tanks had that. One tank had some on all 4 corners. They are gone now as the mat compressed.
All the hate for the IM stands. They are great stands and better than most on the market in my opinion. But anywho.
When you have the tank up and running, if you want to mount a control board in the stand you can use these with extra cam-locks you can buy from IM.

Some custom parts needed to add a custom control board to an Innovative Marine Nuvo 40 APS tank stand. It was designed specifically to hold 1/2" thick Starboard and slide onto Innovative Marine Cam Locks.Ideally you would want some wire saver grommets to custom fit through the board as well.2" or...www.thingiverse.com
I just ordered a standard adaptive reef control board and was thinking how I was gonna mount it. I want to mount it on side right behind the door. I don’t have 3D printer do you have these for sale?
Ok gotcha. I think I may have to just set it on bottom of stand and try and secure to one of the corners maybe. That’s the only downside to these stands is limited ability to mount or hang things.I don’t sell them. A friend printed them for me. I don’t know if it can hang the Adaptive Reef Board. They hold 1/2” starboard.
Thank you that is very helpful. I was beginning to wonder how I’m going to mount my control board. I appreciate it!The gap you have is more than most I’ve seen but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s fine. Both my tanks had that. One tank had some on all 4 corners. They should also work for the Adaptive Reef board. While it's wider, there's kind of a "frame" on the back to allow access for various power cables and power supplies. You can easily drill into the material it's constructed out of.I don’t sell them. A friend printed them for me. I don’t know if it can hang the Adaptive Reef Board. They hold 1/2” starboard.
Hey do I need to print those mounts? If you can print them I’ll pay you.The gap you have is more than most I’ve seen but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s fine. Both my tanks had that. One tank had some on all 4 corners. They are gone now as the mat compressed.

I’ve got adaptive reel board. If you talk to your friend, I’d be willing to pay for them. Thank you! They should also work for the Adaptive Reef board. Oops. Wrong reply-Thank you that is very helpful. I was beginning to wonder how I’m going to mount my control board. I appreciate it!
I did not, however I made myself a note to do what you said above when I empty tank from fill test. Appreciate it.Did you ever use the level as a straight edge to see if the stand was crowned? Level doesn’t mean anything for this problem. You have to see if things are straight. A 4’ level is straight. It will point out where the issue is. If it’s not the stand, it’s the floor.
