Oh when I install my pentair quartz sleeve try to install the adaptor outside the tube. I notice it was cocked to one side. Took about three tries and then installed into housing with no issues. If you visit the pentair site they have real good video instructional video.

It's wasn't leaking at that point (thank goodness)...it was leaking at the larger black "nut" that holds than onto the main tube. I just took it apart...reseated the black o-ring and tightened down. no problems now.

Ok...got the leaks fixed. Drained the water and we got the rocks in place. Put some mortar to join the three main pieces together. mixing up some saltwater to start filling.

I don't have enough cord length to run the heater and skimmer over to my cabinet so I decided to mount them on the right side door.

Started a thread about powerhead placement:

I've been reading lots of posts on powerhead placement and they say "a picture is worth a thousand words". My aquascape is offset in that the rocks are closer to the front on the rights side and further back on the left. My though was that the right side is near a hallway so people can walk...
