How it going everyone, not going to type very much as pics speak 1,000 words. I'm new to the hobby (about 2 months), I started out with the "Pet Store Special". Had a Aqueon 45 and stand w/ a Marineland Canister Filter. Now despite what people say and think about a canister filter w/ a saltwater aquarium, it IS attainable. It's all in MAINTENANCE!!! I made it work for the short time I've had it and only lost ONE fish (green chromis). Despite that I hear stories with people who have to whole setup and loose fish in the week. It was my wanting something more modern looking and a little less maintenance that pushed me to the Innovative Marine. I built a custom stand for it also. Pics of the old tank and new one follow. Sorry for the delayed response, my app was acting up. Thanks, and the light I'm running right now is the 24" Orbit Marine PRO. I'm either looking to run a second one or maybe get a Hydra 26 HD.
Just installed the Tunze 9004. After doing a lot of research, this is the best nano skimmer out there. The Innovative Marine Ghost Skimmer doesn't get that good of reviews, even my LFS said it doesn't skim work anything.

I have the same skimmer and absolutely love it been running it for about 3 months and pulls out some nasty stuff. I went with the d.c model. I did some research about the ghost skimmer and I could not find anything good about it. You will be happy with this skimmer. My only complaint with it is that it won't fit in the second chamber. But that's a minor problem.

Nice tank bro! Love the IM tanks they are awesome, those Hydra 26s are sweet light! If you want to use T5 might have to build a mount for it that does not hang off the back glass of the tank as T5s are heavy, i hung my T5 with closet brackets over the tank gets the job done haha.
