Innovative Marine Gourmet Grazer

I had my water sample sent in and tested by ATI. The chart suggested that something is leaching metals into my tank. So I checked my probe holders but it didn't look like it was. Checked various other things and nothing. Never thought that my algae grazer from Innovative Marine was the culprit. Only reason I found out is that I had taken it out of the tank cause I ran out of of Nori to feed my tang. It wasn't until last night when I finally bought some so I can feed my newly added Achilles tang when I notice the magnet for the inside the tank portion of the grazer was protruding out. When I put it in the tank, I saw bubbles coming out of the the magnet portion, like it was sizzling. I took it out and checked it and noticed small rust, I completely took the magnet portion out and saw the whole think had rust in it.

So please check you Innovative Marine Gourmet Grazer. Luckily I didn't lose much from this.

That has been reported here in the UK quite often, also on their frozen feeder too.
