Innovative marine lagoon 25? Who has them?

I have one I'm cycling right now. I ran an IM 20 before this.

Upgraded the return pump to a controllable DC pump. The default one is loud.

Running IM reactor and skimmer as well as upgraded baskets.

Lighting is kessil A160s

Which dc pump.

Is the IM skimmer loud and does it work well for a heavily stocked tank.

I wouldn't call it loud, but there is a noticeable pump noise.

I personally prefer it to the others as it's not as noticeable, doesn't stick out the back as far. The whole point for me was a clean look

I can understand that but I'd rather have a tank that can handle a future heavy stocked aquarium and since it's not gonna have any sand I would assume that the debris will be floating around so I want as much as I can get out of a skimmer you know?

I run the stock pump, a cobalt heater, I did add those rotating heads on the returns, and i have the IM ghost skimmer but IMO it's junk.
I also have an in tank media basket instead of the sock on one end. I run some carbon and filter floss in that one.
I have a build thread in the nano section.
Oh and an mp10 for flow.

I run a cobalt heater as well, awesome kit.

How do you find the spin streams? I heard they were noise.

For flow I run a pair of rw-4s

I ran about 6 fish plus inverts and a pile of coral. Fed the coral slot, and never had issues in my 20. There are better performing skimmers though.

Rocks only been in there 4 days. Just turned on the light for photos. Only running filter socks and gfo while the rock cycles. Still a bit cloudy yet.

I don't hear them at all.
Only issue is they eventually get enough coralline growth that they stop spinning. So every few months you need to do a vinegar soak. No big deal.
And they take up extra space. That's the trade off I guess. haha

I'm running the stock pump with the spinstreams, a finnex analog 100w heater, the ghost skimmer(which is working GREAT) and I have one of the IM racks filled with a nano bag of chemi pure blue, and about 200g of seachem Matrix media.

Flow is from one Gen 3 koralia (the smallest one)

lighting is an AI Prime
