Innovative marine mini max GFO issue

Hello fellow reefers, I’ve been having issues with running gfo on my innovative marine mini max reactor on my nuvo 40 aio. I’ve done all the rinsing the heck out of the gfo and used two sponges on each side but no matter what the gfo still Finds it’s way out of the reactor on its sides. It’s been frustrating and not sure what to do. I do also have the desktop size reactor I don’t know if that would be any different any tips is appreciated. Thank you

You can try switching to something like Nyos Phosi-Ex. The GFO particles are substantially larger and don't get blown into the tank like RowaPhos and others.
