I'll be following along as well. About a month ago, I took down my 40 Breeder and setup a IM 25 Lagoon. I love the dimensions of the IM 25 Lagoon (24 x 20 x 12); However, after coming from a 40 Breeder (36 x 18 x 16), I am missing the extra 12" of length for my fish to swim.
I was able to purchase a IM 30 Long from a local reefer this past weekend, so I am debating on setting up the IM 30 L to get that 36 length or just keep the IM 25 Lagoon and enjoy the small foot print.

Sorry guys for not updating but I have been super busy and haven't had much time to post about the tank. I'm actually in the process of moving out of the system. The upkeep on an all in one system is tough.
I have started collecting my fish room setup. I purchased a 7 foot 150 gallon frag style tank to use as a display. I have a 120 gallon I'm using for a sump. I also completely gutted a 29 biocube and drilled the back for drain and return. I also purchased a zoomed low boy frag tank for my frag tank. I will be plumbing all these tanks together for a bigger water volume.

The upkeep on the AIO is tough for me because I believe cleaning and maintaining the back compartment is a challenge.
Without being able to see the back compartment it makes it difficult to clean. I'm looking forward to having a sump where I can have full access to.
The small water volume makes it tough for me. I work as a fire medic so being gone for 24 hours and sometimes 48 hours, a lot can change. Water stability is not always there.
Having bigger hands makes it difficult to reach in the compartment which means cleaning is difficult and a huge project.
I'm not trying to steer anyone away from an AIO but I'm just ready for a change after years and years of an AIO.
