So just a quick update. The bigger pump fixed my issue with consistent water level. Stays put now. Thanks for the input everyone.

Stupid question did you glue all the pipes to the bulkhead in the overflow box and did you make any adjustments to the pipes or just leave them how they were shipped.

Yep, the pipes are glued to the bulkhead and no adjustments were made to how they were laid out inside the overflow.

Any updates on the tank. Looking at building this setup. Little concerned about the lack of space. Trying to build a Ultra Low Maintenance setup.

I had to take it down unfortunately a couple months back. Will be a year before I can setup it again.
