Has anyone ever replaced the panels in the APS stands with another material like thin plywood or some other paneling?

I have a APS stand from IM for my Lagoon 25, I have completely taken it apart so I could remove all of the plastic wrap and so I could paint it with rubber paint, I also used plastic vinyl on the sides.
So yes if you take your sides apart you can remove their inserts and put whatever you want in there as long as it is the same dimensions like JumboShrimp stated, but I could not figure out how to do the front doors.

The panels just sit in there for looks. Anything the same size will work.
