So I have decided to plan a tank for Ocellaris Clowns; I've done some research, but would appreciate any input people can provide. To start I have a 22.4 gallon tank long its dimensions are as followed L: 36in D: 12in H: 12in. I plan on getting around 24lbs of live rock, but I'm hesitant on coral and anemones. I know that when two clowns get put together the dominate becomes female and as I'm not looking to breed should I be wary of having two clowns? Any other input on tank setups, preferred equipment, clean up crews, or other tankmates would be appreciated; however I'm unable to add on a sump or refugium, hopefully that's not a problem.

Clowns are pretty hardy. Not many special requirements.

They will eventually spawn, but the larvae will just become food.
