Input on dosing

Hello r2r, Im getting ready to begin dosing as Im beginning to get a good amount of sps coral now. Ive looked around quite a bit with different options and was just looking for some direct input. Looking for opinions on the easiest and most efficient way to dose. I really don't want to get into adding additives if not necessary, I would like to stick to the main elements. I am a complete newbie to dosing so please remember that when responding but I have read enough and watched videos of what its about. Thanks!

Brs has dosing pumps, they make life so easy. 1 min = 1.1mls dosed.
All I dose is alk and cal daily and mag once a week.

Life becomes easy once u figure out how much you need to dose daily. Set it and forget it!

For example:
My tank needs 60mls of alk and 80mls cal
So alk turns on two times a day for 30 mins each time
Cal turns on two times a day for 40 mins...

I would look into dosing kalk first and then move up to 2 part when you need to. I dont think your demand is calling for dosing 2 part yet.

Thanks Chris, Ill look into that. I was going to ask you about dosing last night but forgot.

I agree. I would first look into a kalk reactor to replenishall your evaporated water

I tried dosing but even with pumps it was a PITA so I went back to a calcium reactor which is almost plug and play, set and forget, once you get levels right initially.
