Well I will be starting my 8th tank over probably 30 years. Its been fun with all tanks and is quite addictive and challenging. I will be trying my best to house and take care of SPS, LPS, Fish, anemones, and of course crustaceans, um escargot, LOL. Well I bought my tank used and constructed everything my self with my handyman. It has been a long build with no water. Here goes

Here you can see we removed a wall and made the opening at the top look like the original. The powder coated white stand will be the new aquarium platform. The 180 aquarium was taken down to make room for the new tank.

We started putting the aquarium in place and building the walls around it.

The Tank finally arrived thanks to a great guy named Bobby. We also cut the access door to my sumps that leads to the washer dryer room.

Here I have started making the support for the bar table, so my kids can do homework.

We start to see how the tank will be seen from the living room

Here the drywall is done texture and hardy backer board are done.

Here you can see from the back of the tank. I put a humidity controlled fan unit in to hopefully decrease condensation and humidity.

ok so the white window frame is done and trim modeling on. check

I started hand carving a 4x6 to look like a log to support the granite. We also installed wood flooring and removed old tile.

Started carving the counter trim from 1x6 piece of board. Ordered the cabinet doors.

My handyman made this barn door to slide back in forth in the laundry room where I enter the sump space.
