Insane Zebra TRPE Morph!

I've had several RPE's that have had unusual looking skirts with different colors in the skirts, and the rest in various colors of orange/red to dark red.
I also agree, but will add, very nice ones.

Mine have multi colored skirts..but your red coloration is 100 times more vivid!

Awsome palys!

didnt read a few post above, about the skirts......

They still look super red!!

The brightness of the paly is what I like.

What you have on your hands is the ideal setting to display the maximum color of the OPE! Nice work!

Let me be clear. I am not trying to sell or say I have the newest baddest $200 polyp paly to come along. Matter of fact I haven't tried to sell them at all. I told one person I was considering doing something with a polyp and if they liked they could make me an offer.
RPE may have a double skirt and some appear not to. The double skirt on these polyps is cool but it is the clear difference in coloration and intensity of the polyps that makes it pop out at you.
The photos on coral pedia show green mouths this is showing yellow. It is simply a TRPE morph as I said. I did not attempt to rename them or call them something they aren't. That being said there are tons of examples of the same type of coral with a different name demanding 10x the price for the same piece. First thing that comes to mind is the mummy eye chalices. There are a ton of varieties with subtle differences yet the colors determine the desire for the piece for most people excluding those that just have to say it is a JF or tyree or SC. Would you rather have the OME or the CBT ME? I'll take the second. Why? Because of the vividness of the colors. Would you still cal a PH a PH if the skirt was only blue and blue? No its a hornet due to the striking difference in the skirt going from blue to yellow.
Most RPE the skirt is red and red if it has a double skirt at all. Some may slightly be darker or lighter than the other. This piece is VIVIDLY different. Red to Dark grey. The stripes carry completely though the body into the mouth. The mouth is bright yellow and not green. Here are the 2 coralpedia pictures next mine. I believe there is a glaring difference between the pieces and it is a lot more than just my lighting! Put them together you can see for yourself.

I just saw a nice paly, I'm not all twisted up about what is an exact RPE and what's not, that's just nonsense! Bottom line is that is a Sexy paly!

"Bottom line is that is a Sexy paly!"

Zoanthus giganticus ain't no paly.

Great coloration on those!

From my experience, that is what OPE's look like in real high light - Mine died unfortunately :( from switching them too fast.
