ok.. help me out.. i am redoing my plumbing .. it is 2 inch drain lines.
the true union ball valve is very large. I am planning on using unistrut to support most of the lines. will be looking at fiberglass strut .. not that easy to find..
need help on thoughts on how to attach this large union ball balve
thanks

Unistrut is great stuff, i use it daily , never seen fiberglass, i looked into my catalog and did not find it. Now I have used stainless strutt in clean and corrosive environments, going to be costly. look on ebay for cutoffs or call your local electrical contractor supply house they can order a stick and clamps

thanks.. aicanastrut.. i think or champion strut
but how to attach a large 2 inch true union ball valve... the ball valve has two holes that looked like could put a screw through but i dont think it goes all the way through

Plumbing supply store will have a green painted /sealed unistrut with matching straps. Plumbers use it to keep the different metals from touching.
I would put straps on both sides of the valve like 12ish" away.

thanks.. straps and clamps.. this puppy is a good 20 lbs

For the valves what you will have to do is place your struts before or after and not on the valve itself. And they do sell fiberglass unistrut and pipe hangars i used to use then at my old job in the chlorine manufacturing rooms.

thanks.. for the info. going by home depot today to find a blade for my compound that will cut this metal. not sure exactly what clamps ect I will be using so. easier to just use what home depot has in stock.. the green looks pretty rust resistant.. regardless.. it will be in the ceiling and really not an issue..
