Hey all,

So I have just started an innovative marine 50 ext, and I am using one of FijiCube’s Advanced Reef sumps. My question is... how would you go about installing a fuge light in here? The APS stand from IM is aluminum and uses a thin PVC top so I don’t really have anywhere to drill into. The sump itself is kinda euro-braced with lids on everything... I was thinking of sticking a ChaetoMax light to the side, like this:

But I guess I‘m unsure if that light will really be powerful enough to grow my Chaeto? I could use an adhesive hook, type deal and hang the light from the stand, and just leave the fuge compartment lid on so if it did let go it wouldn’t go splash.

Any other ideas?

Chaetomorpha would probably grow under 1 candle power, so whatever will fit. I have a 6500K 15 watt LED strip light about 10" above a Chaeto bed in my sump. Works fine.
