Installing a Quick Disconnect on Wavemaker Power Cord

Wondering if anyone has installed a disconnect on a power cord closer to the actual wavemaker? It would make pulling the wavemaker out of tank so much easier the way I have all the cords routed. Just curious if anyone has done it. If so, a pic would be great.

I’ve been harping on pump companies for years to make their pumps with a disconnect. It solves so many issues when it comes to cleaning them

It would void the warranty for sure. But, would make life so much easier.
