Installing RMS mount on Biocube 32

So I'm switching my lights over from Steve LED's and taking the top off and I'm adding a Xr15 g4. I thought this would be straight forward but I'm having issues fitting the RMS mount in the back because of the adapter that connects the lid in the back. Anyone running this set up have any insight on how to get this installed? Looks like I might have to cut away from the back divider in the sump so the RMS mount can sit flush? Thank you.

I ran into a similar situations with the mount for AI Prime. I eventually opt to use the ceiling mount option, but I highly considered cutting the lid holder.

Yeah I ended up buying a cheap rotary kit from harbor freight and cut and grinded it off so that the RMS sits flush. Appreciate it!

Hey bud, I know it was a while ago, but how did it work out? I'm about to do the same to mine. Just got the xr15 g5 pros. I'm worried about the back glass being too weak to support the weight tho. Any tips or advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance
