For those who use instant ocean reef crystals, what do you keep your alk at? This is my recent tests, and I receive my doser tomorrow in the mail and want to see what I should target

i always stir the salt before i mix it in with the rodi water. it seems pretty consistant at 8 dkh.

I keep my alk at 8.5 and my calcium at 470ppm in my 50 gallon tank.

After a 10% water change with reef crystals my numbers jump from 8.5 to about 8.7 DKH and from 470 to about 475 ppm calcium.

I just solve this by skipping a few doses of all for reef (or whatever you’re dosing) on water change day.
