I have always used it in my personal systems. When I worked at a public aquarium we used regular instant ocean for fish and Reef crystals for coral and invertebrate systems.
Okay great thank you !

What's the question? It's just salt.
"anyone have any experience with it ? "
That was the question, and a perfectly valid one I might add.

I’ve used over years (started with Instant Ocean, then went to Reef Crystals), works good but tends to clump together when sitting on shelf. Mix good with power head for 24-48 hours at least.

I am trying more expensive Tropic Marine salt now (just started using with new set up this year). Looks and mixes a lot cleaner. I’ll see how it goes.

I used it for 12-15 years, but have fallen victim to the hype of other more expensive salts.
I am going to move back to it.
Just picked up a 200 gallon box for $45 on amazon.
Same. Using Tropic Marine on a 20g tank is okay. But my next tank I want will be over 120g. I am debating on which salt to use.

My only comment would be that it mixes up to a higher Alk than many other salts. If you are currently using a different brand, just be aware of this and adjust accordingly...
I will keep that in mind, thank you

I usually use Red Sea coral pro salt, I’ve never had any issues and coral growth/ health has been great. It also mixes very quick usually within an hour or two and it’s ready to use

Wow that’s a great price! And yah I’ve been using coral pro by Red Sea but my local shop was sold out, so I decided to give reef crystals a try because it was relatively cheap compared to the Red Sea coral pro salt

My 200 gallon box of Reef Crystals (Amazon $45) is being delivered tomorrow. I have been using Red Sea blue bucket but after seeing one particular vendors amazing set up (he uses Reef Crystals) I'm giving it another go.
