Does anyone use the InTank Fuge Basket? Very little information on these in forums. I bought one for my Nuvo 40 and a CheatoMax Light. Just want to know how the user feels about the Fuge Basket? I was caught off guard when I received it and seen it doesn’t have sides. Thanks for anyone’s info.

I use it in my IM Peninsula 20 and it works great. Having no sides doesn’t matter since the glass baffles hold the chaeto in. The only thing is a little might escape through the holes at the top but you could always place a piece of filter floss to block it from going through.

No mine stays in the basket. I typically put my hand on the side to make sure it stays though. Mine seems to ball up together so it pulls out as one big clump.

I used my Fuge Basket to hold some rubble rock when I first set up the tank (JBJ 45 Flat Panel). That did not work great as you would imagine, but it was only meant as temporary. I now use it for Chaetomorpha which tends to hold its shape when the basket is removed.

I also have the InTank Media Basket in my larger overflow chamber. All sides have cover and there is a removeable separator. All said, if this fit in the second chamber where I have the Fuge Basket I would probably have preferred two Media Baskets for the flexibility.
