Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to start my first tank, and am going with an AIO to try and remove some of the risk of setting something up incorrectly. I'm looking for feedback on my intended build before I pull the trigger. Intending to go fish with softies, maybe LPS but currently no intention of any SPS.

Tank: Red Sea Max E-170 (45 gallon)
Heater: Eheim Jager 150W x 2 for redundancy
Rock: 40lb CaribSea life rock
Salt: Instant Ocean Reef Crystals
Sand: CaribSea Arag-Alive (20lb)
ATO: Tunze Osmolator 3155
Wavemaker: Jebao OW-10
RO/DI filter: BRS 4-stage Plus
Temperature Controller: Bayite BTC-201
Thermometer: Zacro 2 pack
Salinity Tester: Hanna Salinity and Temperature Tester
Test Kit: Red Sea Marine Care Test Kit

Other ancillary equipment (tank cover, algae scraper, siphon, etc.)

Let me know what you like/dislike about this build, and anything you would swap, as long as things I'm missing.

Excited to get started!

It looks good to me- no major issues I foresee! Only ticky tacky points you might consider- 1) I like having a refractometer as a backup to the hanna (personal preference), 2) It's personal preference, but if you're running mostly softies, you could always use instant ocean vs reef crystals. No big pros/cons to either beyond the residue in the mixing container from reef crystals, but may save you a few bucks if you're not running a lot of calcifying corals, 3) Good job on the redundancy on the heaters!
