Interaction with CP and Methelyne Blue

I have my new harlequin tusk in QT with a 50mg/gal dose of CP. After reading a bit (my mistake), I read that a lot of HTs are caught using cyanide so now I am paranoid.

From what I read, methelyne blue helps with cyanide. Will the CP have any affect on this?

It's safe to use MB with cp, I have three fish in that combo right now

Methylene Blue is intended to be used as a "bath" not for dosing into a QT. So pull the HT and give it a nice 30 minute bath in MB while heavily aerating, it will greatly help the tusk to transpire O2 across the gill membranes
