Hey Guys,

I've personally never used Interceptor to kill pests in my tank. Is there any good links for best practices for treatment using Interceptor in general?

I made a post here about coral boring spinoids and been researching best practices on getting rid of them. Seems the best way is to reduce total organic nitrogen, filtering the water, and the KO punch to use Interceptor -- https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/c...orms-an-ugly-bane-to-sps.929439/post-10788485

From what I’ve researched, the dosage varies based on what pest you’re targeting:
- Red bugs: 1 23mg tablet per 400 gallons
- White/Gray/Black bugs: 6-7 23mg tablets per 400 gallons

I had acro eating white bugs 2 years ago and I did 1.5 tablets for my 100 gallon and it worked great. After dosing (I crushed/blended the tabs into RODI) I kept my skimmer and carbon off for 12 hours. Just keep it mind it will kill shrimp and crabs.
