Hello everyone - I found and removed this single bubble algae sphere today while cleaning my DT. I know very little about bubble algae or how it spreads, but I have read many posts on R2R debating how it propagates throughout our tanks, so I thought I would share what I found. This one is the size of a green pea and it appears to be growing new spheres from it's surface.
I thought about adding it to my QT to see if the tiny spheres would grow larger, but since that tank is free of bubble algae I decide it was best not to release the devil.
What do you think?
