Some type of limpet or chiton i presume. Hasn't caused any issue I'm aware of, found him during tank tear down. It's about an inch and a half long for size reference.

Yup! A little chiton of some sort, good little algae eaters and they look cool! Some come in pretty interesting colors and patterns on the East Coast of Florida.
 
Cool, they are breeding as I found some little guys too. Hopefully they populate the tank I moved them to. They look predator proof to me so thats good.

Actually if you look just a little higher in that pic you can see a little one too, very pink.
