Looking for ideas on what to put in the new 10g Nuvo I'll be setting up on Monday. Was originally looking to do a shrimp/goby pair since there's not a lot of room but figured I'd check and see if there was something suitable for that size tank that's pretty interesting and out of the oridinary.

I’ve always heard good things about clown gobies. Never had one myself but apparently they tend to always perch on things and watch what’s going on outside of the tank. Lots of personality

just what first jumped to mind

My votes would be
Pink streaked or possum wrasse
Shrimpgoby pair
Pygmy geometric perchlet (the fish mentioned above)
Tailspot blenny

choose 3

yellow assessor is another good one

Well...how much money do you have? If you have a lot...then Lotilia klausewitzi seems fun.

I second the possum wrasse, I especially like the tanaka's possum wrasses.

Apogon parvulus are a neat fish. Never kept them, but once they get started feeding, they seem pretty easy.

A pair of firefish would also work, as would a pair of the other Nemateleotris genus fish.

A flock of Trimma gobies or Eviota blennies would look nice

If you're into hatching brine shrimp (like with NPS corals), then a whack at dwarf seahorses might be worth looking into.

Along the same lines of that, blueline pipefish pairs have been kept in 10 gallons, but probably require the same care as dwarf seahorses.

The stock in my 10g nuvo anenome tank.

2 mocha storm breakers
Blue goby/pistol shrimp combo
Black neon blue dottyback
Pygmy angel

All micro size.
