Does anyone have any idea what this is? It's about 1mm in length and is really attracted to the light at night time. My thoughts were either mysid larvae or hermit crab larvae.

I thought that as well, but the swimming pattern is really differentI'm thinking mysid shrimp.
More of a rapid darting than swimming, also I didn't notice swimmerets. What's the swimming pattern like then?

You’re welcome to! If I catch another one of the buggers I can take a better photo!Haha! Looks awesome! I kind of want to put that 2nd pic as my avatar.@Crabs McJones is a good guy for helping with hitchhikers.
Originally I thought maybe brine, but not like any brine I’ve seen. Also thought it might be mysis, but the tail section looks strange. I’ve never seen peppermint shrimp larvae, but I do have two in the tank. Some sort of shrimp larvae, not sure on species.
Do you think it could be a mantis? Some sort of shrimp larvae, not sure on species.
