Interesting Mutation!

Noticed this today, this polyp seemed to have either started to split into two or is a mutated two mouthed polyp.

Mine was very similar! This is how it started off:

Later it ended up splitting into two polyps. I didn't take any progression shots though unfortunately.

I have something similar going on with one of my polyps, noticed it a couple months ago an it is still going on. Just snapped a couple quick iPhone pics


It is towards the center of the pic, you can see the fingers coming out of the mouth.

its a double head...when its close its just one big close polyp...pretty cool
