Interesting symbiosis

[Back where it all began]

For many months I have had 2 peppermint shrimp as a part of my CUC and a gorilla crab hitchhiker. Over the months all three have lived under/around the same rock. All of my fish are well fed so this translates that these three are as well. One time, all three moved to a different part of the reef where they reside today. It’s as if they have grown up together. Even though the crab has to go, it’s been a model citizen and has not caused any harm. Yet, I suppose. Just a cool happening.

I’ve had 2 gorilla crab hitchhikers. They strike whenever the opportunity is there. I agree it has to go. It’s only a matter of time. They attack fish much bigger than them with a slash. Like a filet.
