Interim idea?

Beautiful sun corals!

I have always loved quite a few NPS corals, just do not have the patience to hand feed them.
Thanks! And yeah, you're certainly not alone...not many people are willing or have the time/patience to feed them as necessary. After you train them to open up during the day though, they're absolutely beautiful parts of any tank imo!

I seem to remember reading there are outfits out of Florida that will ship live rock...any recommendations for a reliable place to look up?

Awesome, thanks! Was spring loaded to go for the premium but noticed there's a note that specifically says to use base live rock to cycle a tank.

30lbs of rock for a 20gal tank sound about right?

I looked closer at the notes and they recommend 2 lbs/gal...more is fine since the plan is for all of it to move over into the 75 eventually.

I'd personally just get the base coralline if this is your starter tank, 30 lbs should be fine. It would be good to have a few pieces of dry Marco rock for filler if that isn't enough. It's all eventually going to go into the 75.

The premium does look good....I'd hold off and use that for topping the big tank.

I had some basic coraline rock from another vendor many years ago, only 30 lbs but it yielded lots of things like urchins, macro algae and snails.

Another rock option is KP Aquatics.
