Hey guys im looking for a overflow weir like this one. I cant find the top to bottom internal overflows anywhere inline only the small boxes. My tank is drilled in the back and currently has one of the small boxes attached and I would like to change it to the ones that go from top to bottom but cant find them.

Have you considered trying to build one? That may be the best way to get one that meets all your specifications.

I thought about it but if these come preinstalled in some tanks I figured they would be easy to find lol guess that's what I get for assuming
I think a lot of them are manufacturer specific type things, maybe you could reach out to an aquarium manufacturer or distributer and see if they know anything or would be willing to sell you one.

yea i can find the little black box weirs like crazy just not the tall ones. I think the top to bottom tall ones just look better. My tank is drilled in the back not the bottom so I don't really need a top to bottom one but I just like the appearance better

If I'm not mistaken some of the guys that sell overflow boxes on Amazon and eBay advertise that they will do custom builds as well. It could be worth just asking.

Or go with a shadow overflow. Mines against a black back tank and is barely noticeable. Just MHO
I have been looking at those. My only problem is I buying the tank from a friend and its already drilled so im not sure if the holes are drilled in the right place for the shadow since they have a template for it

Gotcha. Would be worth looking into if it’s feasible. I’m very pleased with mine so far and drilling the tank was anything but hard. Just required patience but I will say a bit nerve racking the first hole I drilled. Keep us posted.
Or you could contact a manufacturer that puts them in the way you want and have them build one to your size and dimension. I know glasscages.com adds them to their “reef ready” tanks. Glass or acrylic. They do them both.
