This is just something I’ve been thinking about. I’m not dealing with this problem. Just a thought. If a fish gets internal parasites like worms. Can it cure itself on its own?

I think that once they're established, it'd be pretty difficult. Parasites are very, very good at what they do.

Even humans have a hard time with some of the things that live inside us!

Very very true. Just looking to learn more about fish and parasites. Thank you for your help

Internal parasites is a very broad term for a wide range of intestinal worms. Some types are deadly, others are mild, a few are even benign. The hardiness of your fish species also comes into play. For example, I once knew a lady with a Maroon Clownfish that had simple tapeworms, and she allowed the fish to live with them for 9 years before she finally got tired of seeing the white stringy poop & treated it.
