Hi I have a yellow watchman in quarantine. I dosed the water with API general cure 5 days ago. Second dose is today or tomorrow. Is this an intestinal parasite? Will dosing the whole tank resolve it?

Yes that is indicative of internal parasites.

You actually need to add the GC to the food for it to be effective in erradication of intestinal parasites.

See here for instructions on mixing with food:

I would still do the second dose in the water as well.

You can use either Metroplex or general cure. I always feed general cure to wrasse.

I wouldn't ever overdose. But if you mean are they sensitive to Metroplex, I have never found a fish sensitive to metro.

Thanks! How long do you feed it? Should I wait 48 hours for it to dissipate from the water before mixing with food

Feed for at least 14 days. If white stringy poop is gone at 14 days you can stop. Rarely it takes 3 weeks.

Start now. 1st symptom of intestinal parasites is to stop eating. You want to get the meds in there asap.

Send it directly into the problem. Food soaking is where it’s at. All my fish get food soaked API General Cure.

Is it just the pic or is the eye cloudy?
