Internet connection issues (Sicce Xstream SDC powerheads)

Anyone have the Sicce Xstream SDC powerheads? I can't get mine to connect to the internet. Instructions state that it will only connect to a 2.4 GHz network, I have tried three separate networks with no luck. Customer Tech Support has been extinct, frustrating, I hate email responses. Yes, I have watched all the youtube videos. Thinking I'm going to be returning this thing until they figure out the connection issues.
I also have the SDC 9.0. Like this pump with the control-ability features, app, and temperature sensors. Temp sensor seems very accurate I bumped my thermostat up to see if it would send an alert which it did on cue. Mine has a definite vibration/hum that I can hear all the way upstairs of my 2nd floor house. Cant figure out why? I'm running a basement sump with about 14 feet of head pressure still getting about 700 gph at 100% Will probably dial it back after I get the other powerheads going and tank cycled.
I really want these powerheads to work. Maybe someone out in the interweb land has the fix. Apparently you can get the powerheads and return pump to a sync together to do some really awesome modes and wave patterns.

I have no experience with this hardware, but i have had something similar with the kessil wifi controller.
what i found was that if my phone was connected to the 5g side of the router it would not see the kessil controller.

you might check to see if both devices are connected to the 2.4g of your router. that's about all i can help with.
