I've tried mixing Fritz RMP blue box with my tap. My salifert tests + glass hydrometer (60 deg F calib) give me:
Sg: 1.0245
kH: 8.3-8.9 deg
Ca: 390-400 ppm
Mg: 1410-1440 ppm
pH: 8.0-8.15
I just got ICP results for this. Here they are paraphrased (I've attached the full results)
Important for comparing to my test kit and hydrometer:
Ca: 429 ppm
Mg: 1237 ppm
Na: 8956 ppm
Cl: 23082 ppm
Ones that got warnings:
I: 18.8 ppb -- yellow warning, too low
Co: 0.352 ppb -- yellow warning, too low
Zn: 0.979 ppb -- yellow warning, too low
Mo: 131 ppb -- red warning, too high (~10 times higher than optimimum, 4 times higher than high limit)
I want to know two things,

- How do I convert the Na and Cl readings to a salinity in specific gravity?
- Is this Molybdenum level really bad? What does Molybdenum do to livestock?
