If a fish with intestinal parasites dies in your tank can that parasite then infect other fish, and will it have layed eggs etc etc, i just have a fish who appears to be dying a slow death from intestinal parasites which i shouldve looked into ages ago but stupidly i didnt, but im worried for the safety of my other fish. And is there any way i can help my dying fish out

They could definitely transfer from fish to fish. The cure for internal parasites/worms is food soaking either Metro/GC + Focus.

Ok so my mum is a vet, currently caught the tamarin wrasse place hin in a bucket and waiting to see if she can bring praziqeuntal home. I dont know if this is safe to add to my tank so will put it in with him in the bucket. This is maybe a crazy idea but i need help as ive never done this before. The fish is currently on deaths door and he's fought this long for his life i expected him to be dead yesterday otherwise i wouldve acted sooner. How long should i keep him in the bucket with the prqziquental before adding him to the tank again. I dont have a quarantine tank so please no hate, prazi pro is ordered but wont be here for another week.
