This is what I do to keep it simple:
- Take 1 tablespoon of "thawed" frozen or pellets and put it in a shot glass.
- To this, add 1 scoop of Metroplex & 1 scoop of Focus (they each have their own measuring scoops.)
- Mix this all together, adding drops of SW until a paste-like consistency is achieved. Adding FW doesn't work as well because it causes the "medicated food" to float.
- Let the paste "sit" for 30 mins before feeding. Refrigerate the leftovers if you can use it all up within 24 hrs; freeze if it's going to be longer than that.
Previously, I thought more of the Focus was needed to bind the medication to the food, but after Seachem & I discussed this at great lengths it was decided just 1 scoop per 1 tablespoon of food was required. However, I'm not one to leave anything to chance so I also run carbon whilst feeding if done in a reef environment.
