Hello! I'm Kate. I'm new to the hobby so I'm excited to be learning and figuring out what I need to do to get started. Kind of already have an idea of what I want, just don't know where to start. I definitely want an Ocellaris Clownfish. Want to use dry rock and Hawaiian Black live sand. Want to start out with a 20 gallon or maybe a 30. Definite love the brighter corals. Been loving Frogspawn lately and really looking into that. Maybe some hammer heads. Like I said, kind of know what I want, just don't know where to start and what all I'll need. Any and all advice appreciated and accepted! Thanks for having me!

Welcome kate there is plenty of info here to go thru and peeps who love to help . In my opinion I would go 30 gallon if it is between 20'or 30 gallon

Welcome to r2r! Lots if friendly folks here that can offer good advice.

I have found when choosing a tank size go as big as you can. If you're limited to a small tank, like a 20 or 30 then definitely go with the 30. I have a 29 (because that's as big as I could go at the time) and its frustrating on how limited the options are with fish.

Thanks for all the welcome! As far as tank size, I can't go anything greater than 30 gallons for now so I'll be looking into a 30 gallon for sure. Maybe one day I'll have that tank that wraps around my entire bedroom that we all dream of, lol.
