All, excited to jump into the hobby. I live in Georgia and am 25. I have had FW for ~5 years before I went to college and sold all my tanks. Recently decided to go all in and set up a reef tank. Can’t wait to see all the stuff y’all have posted and keep learning.

I currently have an office full of equipment and am waiting on more.

Does anyone have an external overflow box that they really like?

I don't have any experience with external overflows, but it looks like you are off to a good start. I'm sure you will be told to be patient. That is probably the most important key to success.

If you live in an area with a reef keepers club, I highly recommend them. Since the members are local, you have a source of assistance for everything from equipment to livestock to labor if you really need it.

If someone else doesn't post the link, I'll look around for the videos I've seen people recommend for beginning reefers and let you know what they are. I'd also suggest looking through the forum list for threads specifically for new hobbyists.

So, after all that, you really should consider starting a build thread, I'd be interested in seeing your progress.
