I am new to the site and thought I'd introduce myself. I've been in the hobby pretty much my whole life but the last 7 years have been dedicated to marine aquariums. My current setup is a 120 gallon display with a 50 gallon breeder sump. It's only been running since Christmas of 2011 so still a fairly young tank. It currently is stocked with marco dry rock, 2 false percula clowns, 1 foxface rabbitfish, 1 six line wrasse, 1 pacific blue tang, 3 monti caps (green, purple, red/orange), 5 heads of Duncan, 1 green crown leather. Still stocking it slowly but surely.
I joined so I could get in touch with the other local reefers in and around the Nashville, TN. area!
 
Welcome! I started my 120 at the end of last year as well! Would love to see some pics.

That's awesome about your 120, I'll have to spend some more time on here and check it out. Give me a little time and I'll post some pics!!! Gotta get used to this site and how it works...

I took a quick peak at your link. Great looking setup. Do you have that plumbed with a closed loop system? Curious to hear details about it if you do.

Everything! LOL I take it the two lower holes are for the drain and the upper holes are for the return? What type of pump are you using and do you have some form of controller on it to vary the flow? Just curious how you have it operating and by what. It's too late in my build to add one but for the future tank I'll definitely have a CLS incorporated.

I have a reeflo dart pump. It is on a controller but it is only an on or off. I have ball valves everywhere to adjust flow if I want to but I leave it open.

The two lower are drains and the two upper are returns. 2" drains with 1.5" return.
