Hello all, my name is Adam and I'm in Albany, NY. I've been a lurker for a long time among the various fresh and salty sites. I'm in the midst of upgrading systems, and plan on starting a journal of its progress.
My aquatic obsession started many years ago with a ping pong ball at the local fair. Since that first goldfish I have kept S.A cichlids, African cichlids, planted fw, bread Discus, fowlr, and mixed reefs. About ten years ago I made the plunge into saltwater and haven't looked back. The current tank is a 72 gallon bowfront, mixed reef. It has been up and running for almost three years. The tank I'm in setting up now isn't much bigger at 75 gallons but there is also a 180 sitting in my basement waiting for a remodel that has been a long time coming.
I have learned a lot from the forums over the years and look forward to chatting with you in the future.
